We are sitting on a powder keg right here in Virginia. Some call Virginia ground zero on topics such as our constitutional guarantees under
the second amendment to the Constitution of the United States and abortion
rights. I call it Political Corruption.
There are other issues at hand that need to be resolved but in this venue I will restrict
my conversations to those aforementioned.
I realize sanctuary communities was the last detail of
itinerary from my list above but I think it important enough to get front of
the line privilege herein.
In my opinion, there are certain fundamental ideals that
cannot be weaponized. For example:
1.
do as I say, not as I do,
2.
the haves vs. the have nots,
3.
being above the law, and
4.
elitism.
The first three are pretty easy to decrypt on your own and I
really do not intend to address them further other than to say – yes, you are right, they all mean pretty
much the same. Allow me though, to
share my concern on elitism.
Who are the elite?
The elite are a group or class of persons enjoying superior intellectual or social or
economic status. The upper crust - the class
occupying the highest position in the social hierarchy, usually elected or in
some other way chosen - an exclusive group of people. Elitism is an advocacy or existence of an
elite as a dominating element in a system or society.
Having been chosen means in every case, we, the people have elevated the elite to their position or we, the people allow those elite to
remain as elites. The Democratic Party
and the liberal socialist snowflakes that feed off the Democratic Party somehow
(and mistakenly) seem to believe they belong to that elite group. They do not and cannot unless we permit them
so to do!
I refer to the way in which
our (Virginia’s) Governor Ralph Northam is
even allowed to interpret sanctuary laws that entitle illegals to receive
benefits that lawfully belong to American citizens and the illegals have
absolutely no entitlement to those benefits.
In fact, every benefit Northam gives to an illegal, Northam steals that
benefit from an American taxpaying citizen.
And we, the people allow the
thievery to continue. At the same time Northam
rejects an idea of 2nd Amendment sanctuary counties in Virginia in
an attempt to infringe upon American citizens and their constitutional
guarantee to specific rights under the 2nd amendment to the
Constitution of the United States. Our
second amendment to our United States Constitution states A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free
State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Any arms laws enacted against
non-incarcerated U.S. citizens, including those laws requiring a need to be
licensed to carry, are unconstitutional.
Remember the right of the people
to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. I recognize that our federal liberal
government has for so many years been rather successful at changing what is on
the curricula in our public schools and that U.S. government studies are not
considered of great importance in our schools these days. But; you must read our constitution in order
to understand what is in our constitution.
Like any other contract or guarantee, you must fully understand what is
written in the contents of perhaps one of THE
most important documents ever written for the American people and you can NO longer allow anyone to tell you what
is in the constitution; you simply must know!
So far, seventy-four counties
in Virginia have declared themselves as Second Amendment sanctuaries, promising
to not enforce unconstitutional gun laws[1]. And, if you are naïve enough to believe that
just because some weak and timid governor signs a bill into law – a mere, yes a
mere governor signing a bill into law
does not mean that law is constitutional.
So, no sheriff (and the sheriff is the one that enforces laws pertaining
to firearms) is required to enforce those laws.
Cuz, guess why – THEY ARE UNCONSTITUTIONAL!
Unconstitutional laws cannot be enforced. More than 100 cities in Virginia have become
2nd Amendment sanctuary cities[2] in
response to Northam’s attempts to pass unconstitutional infringements upon
American citizens violating American citizen’s constitutionally guaranteed
rights under the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution of the United
States. The movement has gained so much
steam that Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring issued an advisory opinion
reminding residents that such "sanctuary" resolutions had no
standing.
"It is my opinion that these resolutions
have no legal effect," Herring said in a letter. "It is my further opinion that localities
and local constitutional officers cannot nullify state laws and must comply
with gun violence prevention measures that the General Assembly may enact[3]." I think Buggs Bunny said it best when he said
What a Baffoon.
"I am in favor of
the Second Amendment Sanctuary. I
believe we need to send a message to Richmond that our citizens will take a
stance. My deputies and I take an oath
to uphold the Constitution and that’s what we will do," said Rappahannock
County Sheriff Connie Compton[4].
The Virginia Defense League (VDL) and the Gun
Owners of America (GOA) said Northam and Herring are wrong in their assessment
counties must always implement laws passed since they "have taken exactly
the opposite legal position" when it came to sanctuary status for illegal
immigrants[5].
Northam vetoed two bills in March 2019 that would have
banned localities from becoming sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants and
would have required law enforcement agency to notify federal authorities if they
had illegal immigrants in their custody[6].
The safety of our communities requires that all people,
whether they are documented or not, feel comfortable, supported and protected
by our public safety agencies," Northam said at the time[7].
Abortion politics in Virginia made national news during
January 2019 when state Rep. Kathy Tran proposed a bill allowing abortion up
until birth and even during labor. Tran’s
“birthday abortion bill” contained several extreme provisions such as:
1.
allowing abortion during the last three months
of pregnancy,
2.
elimination of informed-consent and
clinic-safety requirements,
3.
late-term abortions could be performed in
outpatient clinics, and
Northam said he supported the bill and that in the case of a
failed abortion, "The infant would be kept comfortable. After a failed abortion attempt, the infant
would be resuscitated and then a “discussion” would ensue between the
physicians and the mother." It
sounds disconcertingly as though Northam supports infanticide[9]?
Though most of Virginia is repulsed with any thought of
harming a human life, Tran and Northam won the loyal support of the
pro-abortion lobby. Both Tran and
Northam have received money from pro-abortion groups like Emily’s List and
Planned Parenthood. EMILY's List raises
money for Democratic female political candidates who support unrestricted
access to taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand. So, no other qualifications; all you gotta do
is support unrestricted access to taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand and you
qualify. Planned Parenthood: is the
largest abortion provider in the United States and advocates taxpayer-funded
abortion-on-demand; around the world. Both Emily’s List and Planned Parenthood receive
most of their funding from George Soros and his Open Society Foundation[10]
(OSF). In the United States, OSF U.S.
Programs have given hundreds of millions to left-wing political organizations
including multi-million dollar gifts to the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, the Robin
Hood Foundation, the Tides Foundation, the Brennan Center for Justice, and
Alliance for Citizenship among countless others[11].
Do not let this happen in your hometown!
