Our convention is finally here! Our 7th Congressional District Republican Convention is THIS SATURDAY, JULY 18th AT MEADOW EVENT PARK! The first round of voting begins at 8:00am and ends at 11:00am - but we recommend getting there between 9:00am and 10:00am. Nothing great has ever been done alone. We built an incredible team and if we all show up we are going to win on Saturday.
It’s going to be a great day and we’re excited to end the day with a big win. But we need YOU there to make that happen. Our campaign will have plenty of water, AC, and other amenities to keep our delegates cool and comfortable throughout the day.
We've listed important information that you need to know below
to help you understand how the day will go!
WHERE: The Convention is at Meadow Event Park in the Farm Bureau Center - 13191 Dawn Blvd, Doswell, VA 23047 – PLEASE enter through GATE 2.
DIRECTIONS: From I-95, take Exit 98 (Doswell) and travel 1½ miles east on state Route 30. The main entrance to The Meadow Event Park will be on your left.
VOTING: The first round of voting will begin at 8:00am and will end at 11:00am – but we recommend you get there between 9:00am and 10:00am. YOU MUST BE IN LINE BY 11AM TO BE ABLE TO VOTE. If you miss the first round you will not be able to vote in later rounds.
There will be no more than three rounds of voting. The convention itself should last until about mid-afternoon. Again, we’ll have plenty of AC, water, shelter, and other amenities to keep you comfortable.
BRING WITH YOU: You’ll need to bring the following -
- Picture ID
- Face Mask — If you happen to forget your mask, Team McGuire will have masks available for your convenience.
- Folding chairs to relax while ballots are tabulated.
- Snacks and plenty of water — Team McGuire will also be providing water for you.
Both handicap parking and restrooms will be available for Delegates.
FOOD, PARKING AND RESTROOMS: There will be food vendors on site if you wish to purchase food there, or you are welcome to bring your own food. Team McGuire will also have food arrangements but we encourage you to bring your own food.

OFF-SITE AMENITIES (MCGUIRE DELEGATES ONLY): Team McGuire will have an off-site station for our delegates to relax indoors, enjoy some food and refreshments on us, and get geared up for the next round of voting to take place. Details below:
- LaQuinta Inn & Suites: 16280 International St, Doswell, VA 23047 - just up the road from Meadow Event Park.
- We have rented out lobby and will also have outdoor tents and fans.
- We will provide free boxed lunches and water for our delegates.
- We will be providing shuttle services between Meadow Event Park and our off-site station for your convenience.
BUSES: Buses will be departing from Henrico and Chesterfield Counties on the Saturday morning for any delegates who would prefer a free ride to the convention. The bus schedule is as follows:
Chesterfield:
Depart - 8:00am - Chesterfield Town Center (TJ Maxx/Home Goods parking lot) - 11500 Midlothian Turnpike, Chesterfield, VA 23235
Return - 7:00pm - Same as Departure
Henrico:
Depart - 8:00am - Short Pump Town Center (Between Dillards and Nordstrom) 11800 West Broad St, Richmond, VA
Return - 6:30pm - Same as Departure
We recommend that after you vote you either join Team McGuire in our air conditioned tents at Meadow Event Park or right up the road at LaQuinta Inn & Suites while we wait for the next round of voting. This will get you out of the heat and into a nice cool place to relax. It's very important that all of our delegates vote in every round - so we're making it easy for you to hang around, stay cool, and have everything you need for the day.

We are excited for the Convention this Saturday, July 18th at Meadow Event Park. I know that I'm the best conservative candidate to defeat Abigail Spanberger and take back the 7th. I'm pro-life, pro-gun, and pro-Trump. I currently represent half of the 7th district, including Henrico County where I had the 2nd largest win in Virginia last year - these are the areas we need to win to take back the 7th. I need you there Saturday so we can win big!
